The application is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to surrender and seek regular bail before the lower court.
Summary
The petitioner, Ranjeet Kumar, was implicated in a criminal case (PS case No.222/2025) and filed an application before the Patna High Court seeking regular bail. He later requested permission to withdraw that application and to surrender to the lower court within four weeks. The learned counsel for the State opposed the request. The Court considered the petitioner's request and, after hearing both sides, granted permission to withdraw the application. It ordered that the petitioner may surrender and subsequently apply for regular bail before the subordinate court, which will be decided on its merits on the same day. The High Court dismissed the original application as withdrawn, without prejudice to any future bail application.
