Holding

Bail was granted to the petitioner on the condition of a bail bond and sureties.

Summary

The petitioner, Manjar Miya, was charged under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (341, 324, 323, 307, 354(b), 379, 504, 506/34) and Section 27 of the Arms Act for allegedly causing grievous head injury to an informant with a weapon. He had been in custody since 19 September 2025 and a chargesheet had been filed. The State opposed his bail application.
