The application for regular bail was dismissed as successive bail applications are not appreciated.
Summary
The petitioner, Prashant Kumar, was charged under Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code in a case registered at Mednichowki Police Station. He initially applied for regular bail, which was rejected by the court on 03 September 2025. After a three‑month interval, he filed a second bail application on 20 December 2025. The High Court observed that filing successive bail applications after a rejection is not a practice the court appreciates. Consequently, the court dismissed the second bail application without entertaining the merits of the bail request.

- Whether a successive bail application filed after an earlier rejection can be entertained by the court.

2. This is the second attempt of the petitioner for grant
grant of regular bail in connection with Mednichowki P.S. Case

the petitioner has filed this successive bail application in this

of the earlier bail order and the practice of filing successive bail
