The application for regular bail is dismissed as there is no new ground to review the earlier order.
Summary
Ranveer Kumar was charged with murder and related offences under Sections 103(1), 61(2), 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The petitioner alleged that he merely planned the crime while his brother, Mantu Yadav, carried out the killing. A prior application for regular bail was rejected on 16‑04‑2025, and the petitioner filed a second bail application. The Court observed that the charge had already been framed, the trial was underway, and the offences were of a grave nature. Finding no new ground to revisit its earlier order, the Court dismissed the bail application. Additionally, the Superintendent of Police was directed to ensure the attendance of witnesses in the trial.
