The application is dismissed as withdrawn, with no merits adjudicated.

Summary

The petitioners Vijay Kishore Singh, Vishal Kumar Singh and Shama Singh filed a criminal miscellaneous application before the Patna High Court against the State of Bihar and Dr. Sonali Suman. During the hearing on 16-03-2026, counsel for the petitioners informed the court that the parties had amicably settled the dispute outside the court and sought permission to withdraw the application. The court granted the request, allowing the petition to be withdrawn. Consequently, the application was dismissed as withdrawn, with the court expressly stating that it did not pass any opinion on the merits of the underlying dispute. The order reflects the procedural rule that a litigant may withdraw a pending application upon settlement and court approval.
