DISPOSED

Holding

The court directed the petitioner to make a repayment representation to the bank, and the bank to consider it sympathetically within eight weeks, thereby disposing of the writ petition.

Summary

The petitioners, Raj Kishore Singh and his sons, sought relief from the Patna High Court to facilitate repayment of an outstanding mortgage loan taken from State Bank of India. They expressed willingness to pay the entire loan amount and requested the court to intervene. The court directed the petitioners to submit a formal representation to the bank outlining their proposed mode of repayment, taking into account the petitioner's advanced age. The bank was instructed to consider the representation sympathetically and to act within eight weeks of receipt. Accordingly, the writ petition was disposed of without further orders.
