DISPOSED

Holding

The writ petition was dismissed as infructuous because the work order had already been issued.

Summary

Shiv Kumar Verma filed a writ petition challenging the issuance of a work order by the Bihar Rural Works Department. The State contended that the financial bid had been opened on 18-07-2025 and the work order was already issued. The Court examined whether the petition remained viable after the work order’s issuance. It concluded that the petition had become infructuous because the relief sought could no longer be granted. Consequently, the writ application was disposed of as infructuous, and any pending applications were also dismissed.
