Summary

Anil Kumar Singh filed a writ petition in the Patna High Court seeking a mandamus to stop the construction of a garbage disposal unit on a residential road in Bhawanipur, alleging environmental and public health hazards, and to direct relocation of the facility to suitable government land. The petition named the State of Bihar and several officials as respondents. During the hearing on 9 April 2026, the petitioner’s counsel requested the withdrawal of the petition.
