Summary

The petitioner, Dhiraj Sharma, filed a writ petition challenging the reduction in the number of beneficiaries under his restored license. The petitioner’s counsel informed the court that the license had been restored but with fewer beneficiaries than before. He then sought permission to withdraw the writ petition and to make a suitable representation to the District Magistrate (Respondent No.5) regarding the reduced beneficiaries. The court granted leave to withdraw the petition and directed that the representation be considered on its merits within twelve weeks of receipt of the order. The court further ordered that any subsequent order be communicated to the petitioner, and the writ petition was consequently disposed of.
