The petition was disposed of at the admission stage with the parties' consent, directing the department to consider the prior representation and act within four weeks.

Summary

The petitioner, Baijnath Nirman India Pvt. Ltd., filed a civil writ petition before the Patna High Court challenging actions of various officials of the Bihar Water Resources Department. The petitioner had earlier submitted a representation on 23 July 2025 to the Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department, seeking redress of his grievance. The Court, without examining the merits, disposed of the petition at the admission stage with the consent of both parties. It directed the respondent department to consider the earlier representation and to take necessary action within four weeks, providing the petitioner an opportunity to clarify any queries. The order also required that any further orders be communicated to the parties. Consequently, the writ petition was closed pending the department's response to the representation.
