DISPOSED

Holding

The court held that the petitioners' grievances are redressed and consequently disposed of both writ petitions.

Summary

The petitioners, a group of doctors, filed two civil writ petitions seeking appointment as General Medical Officers and Specialist Medical Officers. The Health Department of Bihar, through a committee, accepted their joining and issued Notification No. 586(2) dated 11.04.2025 appointing 35 of the petitioners, bringing the total appointments to 56. The petitioners submitted a supplementary counter‑affidavit, and the court was informed that the department had already resolved the matter. The learned counsel for the petitioners argued that their grievances were thus redressed. The court, after considering the submissions and the notification, held that there was no further relief to be granted and disposed of both writ petitions, also dismissing any pending interlocutory applications.
