Summary

M/s Lakshman Agro Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., through its director, filed a writ petition before the Patna High Court seeking relief under the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority's (BIADA) Amnesty Policy, 2025. The petitioner alleged that its application for amnesty had not been acted upon. BIADA, through its counsel, submitted that the application had been approved in principle by a letter dated 15 April 2026 and that formal communication would follow. The Court examined whether any further judicial intervention was required given the approval in principle. Finding that the matter was essentially administrative and that the petitioner had been accorded approval, the Court disposed of the petition. The Court further directed that the petitioner could approach the Court again if any other grievance arose.
