Summary

Amod Kumar Singh filed a petition in the Patna High Court seeking a writ of certiorari to quash an order dated 26‑06‑2025 passed by the Bihar Land Tribunal and several earlier mutation orders issued by revenue officials, alleging that the orders were passed without cogent reasoning and were perverse. The petitioner claimed the tribunal’s judgment was bad in law and should be set aside, and also sought an interim stay of the tribunal’s order. The court issued notice to respondents numbered 5 to 12 on 04‑11‑2025, but the respondents failed to comply. Consequently, the notice was dismissed on 18‑11‑2025, and the petition was not entertained further. No substantive reasoning on the merits was provided in the order.
