Summary

Petitioner Manoj Kumar Mishra filed a writ petition in the Patna High Court seeking a mandamus directing the Collector to consider his claim, create a new Jamabandi in his name, and cancel the existing Jamabandi No.11141. The relief was sought on the basis that he had received the land and the land records needed correction. Counsel for the petitioner later asked the Court to permit withdrawal of the petition. The Court entertained the request and found no obstacle to allowing the withdrawal. Accordingly, the writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn.
