Holding

The petition was dismissed because the petitioner failed to comply with the court’s order to file the annexure.

Summary

Petitioner Chandeshwar Rai filed a civil writ petition seeking a court direction for the construction of a boundary wall on his purchased land and for an atmosphere of space and tranquillity over the land. The court ordered the petitioner to submit an annexure to the petition on 8 January 2025. The petitioner failed to comply with this direction, and consequently, the court rejected the petition on 22 January 2026. No substantive hearing on the merits of the reliefs was undertaken. The dismissal was based solely on the petitioner’s non‑compliance with the procedural direction.
