The writ petition is disposed of as the petitioner’s grievance has been redressed.

Summary

Madhwan Memorial College of Education filed a writ petition seeking a certiorari to quash the Tilka Manjhi Bhagalpur University’s decision rejecting its affiliation for the 2023‑25 session and to compel the university to grant affiliation. The petition also asked for a mandamus directing the university to include the college in the list of affiliated institutions and to allocate students. During the pendency of the writ, the university issued Notification No. 87/2023 dated 29‑05‑2023 granting permanent affiliation to the college. The petitioner acknowledged that its grievance was thereby redressed in a supplementary affidavit. On this basis, the High Court disposed of the writ application.
