Summary
The petitioner, Yugal Kishore Mishra, filed a writ petition in the Patna High Court seeking multiple reliefs including quashing an order dated 26.03.2019, granting statutory benefits of Junior and Senior Selection Grades, payment of travel allowance, and appropriate posting scale. The reliefs were sought against various officials of the Bihar Government, notably the Department of Education and the Institute of Prakrit Jainology and Ahimsa. The petitioner’s counsel later sought permission to withdraw the entire application. The Court considered the request for withdrawal and found no impediment to allowing it. Consequently, the Court dismissed the application as withdrawn, without addressing the substantive reliefs claimed.
