The Court disposed of the petition in accordance with the earlier judgment dated 7‑8‑2025 in CWJC No.11913 of 2025.
Summary
Petitioner Jay Ram Singh Yadav, a contractual Sepoy Driver in the Bihar Police, filed a writ petition seeking quashing of an order terminating his services, regularization of his position, and permission to continue in service until retirement. He also requested mandamus directing the respondents to regularize his appointment and allow him to serve on a contractual basis up to age 60. Both parties submitted that the petition should be disposed of in line with a prior judgment (CWJC No.11913 of 2025) which dealt with similar issues. The Court examined the submissions and found no need to entertain the reliefs afresh, directing that the present application be disposed of as per the earlier judgment. Consequently, the petition was dismissed without further order.
