Summary

Petitioner Ranjit Paswan filed a writ petition seeking liberty to file a fresh application for the creation of a Jamabandi (mutation) in his favour. The petitioner argued that the earlier application had been dismissed and requested the court’s direction to allow a new filing with supporting documents. The State counsel raised no objection to the petitioner's request. The court held that the petitioner may file a fresh application, both in hard copy and online, and directed the Circle Officer to dispose of the application within three months of receipt of the order.
