The order dated 2 April 2026 is modified to correct the erroneous reference to bail in a criminal case.

Summary

The petitioner, Md. Sairuddin, filed a writ petition against the State of Bihar and several agricultural officials. During the hearing on 8 April 2026, the court observed that paragraphs 7 to 9 of its earlier order dated 2 April 2026 contained a typographical error, incorrectly stating that the petitioner had been granted bail in a criminal case. The petitioner’s counsel pointed out the mistake and sought a correction. Justice A. Abhishek Reddy directed that the erroneous lines be read as simply stating that the petitioner had already been granted bail, without reference to the criminal case. Accordingly, the order dated 2 April 2026 was modified to reflect the corrected wording. No substantive merits of the petition were addressed; the order was purely a procedural amendment.
