Summary

Anandi Paswan filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the State authorities to dispose of his representation dated 11‑12‑2023, wherein he requested a compassionate appointment after his father's death. The petition highlighted that the representation remained pending without any decision or reasoned order, causing financial hardship to the petitioner. The High Court observed that the delay was unwarranted and that the petitioner’s financial situation warranted prompt action.
