The application was disposed of as withdrawn.

Summary

The petitioner, Kripa Shankar Mishra, filed a writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the State of Bihar and its irrigation department officials to correct his grade‑pay fixation and to provide monetary benefits under a modified assured career progression scheme that had been approved but not disbursed. He alleged that the respondents had no valid reason for withholding the benefit. The petitioner later informed the court that his grievance had been resolved during the pendency of the application and requested that the case be withdrawn. The court examined the petition and the withdrawal request, noting that the relief sought was no longer required. Consequently, the court disposed of the application as withdrawn, without addressing the merits of the mandamus claim.
