The writ application is not maintainable at this stage and is disposed of, with a direction to the District Programme Officer to decide the matter within three months.
Summary
Mushtaque Ali Ansari, a government employee, received a show‑cause notice (Letter No.4450 dated 15‑12‑2025) from the District Programme Officer (Establishment), Nawada, directing him to explain why he should be terminated. He filed a writ petition seeking quashing of the notice and restraining any further action. The High Court held that the petition was premature as no adverse termination order had been passed, rendering the writ application non‑maintainable. Consequently, the petition was disposed of, but the Court directed the District Programme Officer to take a final decision on the matter within three months. The order also deemed any pending interim applications as disposed.
