Holding

The contempt petition is dismissed as the District Magistrate's order complies with the earlier court directive.

Summary

Anil Kumar filed a contempt petition challenging the order of the District Magistrate, Saran, which rejected his claim. The contempt petition arose from a prior order dated 03-10-2017 in Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No.20796 of 2014, directing the District Magistrate to pass a reasoned order. The District Magistrate complied by issuing an order on 12-03-2026 rejecting the petitioner's claim. The High Court examined whether the contempt petition was maintainable given the compliance with the earlier directive. Finding that the District Magistrate had acted in accordance with the earlier order, the Court dismissed the contempt petition, allowing the petitioner to challenge the 12-03-2026 order if aggrieved.
