The Court restored the Letters Patent Appeal No.894 of 2019 to its original file.
Summary
Four petitioners filed a petition before the Patna High Court seeking restoration of Letters Patent Appeal (LPA) No.894 of 2019, which had been dismissed for non‑prosecution on 3 April 2025. The State of Bihar and the Director of Land Records were opposite parties. The petition argued that the dismissal was erroneous and that the appeal should be reinstated. The Court, after hearing counsel Shristi Singh, allowed the miscellaneous jurisdiction case subject to a nominal payment of Rs.1,000 to the High Court Legal Services Committee for purchase of flower pots. Consequently, the LPA No.894 of 2019 was restored to its original file.
