The contempt proceedings are closed, but the petitioner may challenge the subsequent orders if aggrieved.

Summary

Pinku Sah, wife of Manoj Kumar Ranjan, filed a petition in the Patna High Court challenging certain orders issued by Bihar state officials. The court noted that the authorities had issued two subsequent orders (dated 25 September 2025 and 26 November 2025) in response to the earlier order dated 23 June 2025. After reviewing the compliance, the court held that the contempt proceedings against the respondents stand closed. However, the court left open the possibility for the petitioner to challenge those later orders if she is aggrieved. The matter was disposed of with the contempt closed, subject to any further aggrieved application by the petitioner.
