Decided

DISPOSED

Holding

The contempt petition is disposed of as the required representation was duly disposed of, negating any contempt.

Summary

Petitioner Nawal Kishore Dubey filed a contempt petition alleging that the respondents, including the District Magistrates of Patna and Vaishali, failed to comply with the High Court's order dated 03‑04‑2025 in C.W.J.C. No.5172 of 2015, which required him to file an exhaustive representation regarding a land grievance and for the magistrates to jointly decide the matter within three months. The respondents filed a show‑cause response stating that the representation was disposed of on 19‑02‑2026. The Court examined whether the order had been breached and whether contempt was established. Finding that the representation had indeed been disposed of, the Court held that there was no contempt. Consequently, the contempt petition was dismissed.
