The contempt proceedings are closed, with the petitioner permitted to challenge the order before the appropriate authority or court.
Summary
Petitioner Rajnath Singh challenged an order dated 30 October 2025 issued by the State authorities, alleging it did not strictly comply with the High Court's earlier directive dated 19 June 2025 in the same writ case. The petitioner argued that the order was non‑compliant and sought contempt proceedings. The Court examined the contention but declined to delve into the merits, noting that the order had been issued. Consequently, the Court closed the contempt proceedings, but granted the petitioner liberty to approach the appropriate authority or court to contest the order. The matter was thus disposed without a finding of contempt.
