Holding

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn and the contempt proceeding is dropped.

Summary

Manoj Kumar filed a miscellaneous jurisdiction petition (M.J.C. No.3514 of 2025) before the Patna High Court seeking permission to withdraw his earlier civil writ petition (C.W.J.C. No.12329 of 2024) against the State of Bihar and several officials. The petitioner argued that the show‑cause notice indicated compliance with the order dated 22‑08‑2024, rendering further proceedings unnecessary. Counsel for the petitioner requested that the court allow the withdrawal of the M.J.C. petition. The court, after hearing both sides, granted the request. Consequently, the contempt proceedings were dropped and the M.J.C. petition was dismissed as withdrawn.
