The petition is disposed without ordering contempt proceedings against the opposite parties.

Summary

Dr. Shailendra Kumar filed a petition in the Patna High Court seeking contempt proceedings against the State of Bihar and several officials for allegedly violating an order dated 24 May 2018 issued by Justice Dinesh Kumar Singh in C.W.J.C. No.10103 of 2017. The petition alleged that the District Arms Magistrate had rejected an order dated 13 September 2019, constituting a deliberate breach of the earlier judgment. The court examined the show‑cause notice and the alleged non‑compliance but did not find sufficient grounds to initiate contempt proceedings at this stage. It granted the petitioner liberty to pursue the matter further if desired, and ultimately disposed of the petition without ordering any contempt action. The case was closed with the disposition that the petition is disposed.
