Holding

The Court closed the writ petition, permitting the petitioner to challenge the order dated 20.12.2024 separately.

Summary

The Bihar Motor Transport Federation filed a writ petition challenging an order of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The High Court, in an earlier order dated 19.08.2024, directed the petitioner to submit a representation before the concerned authority. The petitioner complied, and the authority issued an order on 20.12.2024, which was accompanied by a supplementary show‑cause notice. The Court examined the compliance and held that the writ petition could be closed, leaving the petitioner free to contest the 20.12.2024 order separately if desired. Consequently, the Court closed the present writ petition without further adjudication on the merits.
