The Court granted the petitioners liberty to challenge the Board’s order and disposed of the petition.

Summary

Four petitioners filed a writ petition against the State of Bihar, the Department of Education and the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board, seeking relief over grievances that the Board had addressed in an order dated 10‑December‑2025. The High Court had earlier, on 29‑April‑2019, directed the Board’s Secretary to pass a reasoned order, which was complied with. The petitioners contended that the order did not fully satisfy their claims and asked the Court to grant them liberty to challenge it through appropriate legal remedies. The Court, after hearing counsel, granted the petitioners liberty to contest the Board’s order and consequently disposed of the writ petition. The matter was thus left for the petitioners to pursue further relief in a suitable forum.
