Holding

The court granted the petitioner liberty to agitate the grievance and disposed of the petition.

Summary

Arun Kumar Singh filed a petition seeking the initiation of contempt proceedings against several officials of the Bihar Government, alleging that they had flouted the order dated 12‑10‑2017 passed in CWJC No. 17336 of 2014. The petition was accompanied by annexures showing a payment made to the petitioner. The court examined whether the petitioner was entitled to a liberty to agitate the matter despite the earlier order. The bench granted the petitioner a liberty to raise the grievance again and consequently disposed of the present miscellaneous jurisdiction case. No statutory provisions or precedents were specifically relied upon in the reasoning.
