          Mr. Goswami, learned counsel for the appellant, submits
that during the pendency of the present appeal, the appellant
has been enlarged on regular bail by the Trial Court in
connection with the offence registered under the Land
Grabbing              Act.         Therefore,                upon          instructions,                 he        seeks
permission to withdraw the present appeal.
          Permission as sought for is granted. The appeal stands
disposed of as withdrawn.
          In view of withdrawal of main appeal, the Criminal Misc.
Application No.1 of 2026 for stay does not survive and the
same stands disposed of accordingly. Notice is discharged.
          It is open to the appellant to raise all contentions, if
necessary, before the appropriate forum.
