The bail application was dismissed and withdrawn due to the suppression of material facts, with permission granted for the applicant to file an apology and withdraw the application.

Summary

Anilbhai Maahyabhai Bhanvar applied for regular bail before the filing of a chargesheet. The applicant's counsel suppressed material facts, which the court identified as a ground for dismissal. The counsel subsequently sought permission to file a written apology disclosing the applicant's past antecedents and to withdraw the bail application. The court granted permission to file the apology and to withdraw the application. Consequently, the application was disposed of as withdrawn.

Issues considered
