Summary
The applicant, Patel Bhavikbhai Sureshbhai, filed an anticipatory bail application in the Gujarat High Court. He later sought permission to withdraw that application and retain the liberty to file a fresh anticipatory bail petition later if needed. The court considered whether such a withdrawal could be permitted without prejudice to the merits. The judge granted the request, allowing the withdrawal and confirming that the court had not examined the merits of the underlying case. Consequently, the present application was disposed of as withdrawn.
