High Court of Gujarat

RAMILABEN VIMALBHAI PARMARversusSTATE OF GUJARAT

Disposal
DISPOSED AS INFRUCTUOUS

Holding

The petition is dismissed as it has become infructuous.

Summary

In a Special Civil Application No. 16034 of 2025, petitioner Ramilaben Vimalbhai Parmar sought relief against the State of Gujarat and others, contending that an execution order passed by the Labour Court had not been complied with. The petitioner’s counsel argued that the execution order had already been carried out and the amount due had been withdrawn, rendering the petition unnecessary. The learned counsel for the respondent, Mr. Mrunal Dholaria, AGP, did not contest this claim. The High Court examined whether the petition remained viable in light of the alleged compliance. Concluding that the execution order was indeed satisfied, the Court held the petition to be infructuous and consequently disposed of it, discharging the notice issued to the respondents.
