          Mr. Aditya Gupta, learned counsel for the petitioner
submits that the challenge in the present petition concerns the
renewal of passport of the petitioner and during the pendency of
the petition, the passport has already been renewed and
therefore, he seeks permission to withdraw the present petition
as the petition has become infructuous.


          Permission as sought for is granted. The petition stands
disposed of as withdrawn as having become infructuous. Notice
is discharged.
