High Court of Gujarat

NANJIBHAI SURAJI PARMAR (SINCE DECD) THROUGH WIFE HANSABEN NANJIBHAI PARMAR (THAKOR)versusSTATE OF GUJARAT

Disposal
DISPOSED AS INFRUCTUOUS

Holding

The petition is disposed of as infructuous and the interim relief is vacated.

Summary

The petitioner, Nanjibhai Suraji Parmar (deceased) through his wife Hansaben, filed a Special Civil Application against the State of Gujarat and others seeking relief. During the pendency, the respondents complied with the Court's earlier direction dated 21‑05‑2025 by executing and registering a lease deed in favour of the petitioner on 11‑06‑2025. The petitioner’s counsel submitted the registered lease deed and argued that the petition had become infructuous. The Court noted that the matter was now moot and ordered the petition to be disposed without addressing the merits. Consequently, any interim relief previously granted was vacated.
