Holding

Anticipatory bail is granted to the applicant subject to conditions imposed by the court.

Summary

The applicant, Akshata Nitin Yedure, sought anticipatory bail in connection with Crime No. 170 of 2025, alleging that her husband is the mastermind and she has a two‑year‑old child. The State opposed the bail but acknowledged that the applicant had cooperated with the investigating officer. The court examined whether anticipatory bail was appropriate given the circumstances and the applicant's cooperation. It held that bail could be granted provided the applicant complied with specific conditions, including not tampering with evidence and reporting to the investigating officer. Consequently, the anticipatory bail application was made absolute and disposed of with the stipulated conditions.

Issues considered
