Dismissed as Withdrawn

Holding

The court may permit the applicant to withdraw an anticipatory bail application, resulting in its disposal.

Summary

Santosh Shivaji Salgar filed an anticipatory bail application before the Bombay High Court. During the hearing, counsel for the applicant requested to withdraw the application, indicating that the court was not inclined to grant bail. The court entertained the request and allowed the withdrawal of the anticipatory bail application. Consequently, the anticipatory bail application was disposed of as withdrawn. Since the anticipatory bail application was the basis for the related interim application (Interim Application No. 3039 of 2026), the interim application was also disposed of. No further orders were made.
