RAM KISAN SATHEversusSTATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal
Disposed Off

Holding

The court restored ABA No. 2394 of 2025 and dismissed ABA No. 2395 of 2025 as withdrawn.

Summary

The High Court of Bombay, Kolhapur Bench, heard applications for anticipatory bail filed by Ram Kisan Sathe (ABA No. 2394 of 2025) and Ravi Prakash Sonawane (ABA No. 2395 of 2025). The applicants argued that the court had already disposed of Sathe's application and that the second application should be treated as a withdrawal. The court, after considering the submissions, ordered that ABA No. 2394 be restored to the court file and allowed the withdrawal of ABA No. 2395. Consequently, the anticipatory bail application of Ravi Prakash Sonawane was dismissed and recorded as withdrawn, while Sathe's application was reinstated for further consideration.
