Holding

The court allowed the withdrawal of the anticipatory bail application and disposed of it as withdrawn.

Summary

The applicant, Laxman Kerappa Gavade, filed an anticipatory bail application under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the BNS Act in connection with a case registered as C.R. No. 300/2026. He sought that, if arrested, the investigating officer be directed to release him on bail on terms the court deemed fit. During the hearing, the applicant’s counsel, Mr. Jaydeep Mane, requested a passover to consult the client and subsequently sought leave to withdraw the application. The State’s counsel, Mr. N. B.
