Bombay High Court

SHIVAJI BHAU BHOSALEversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA AND ANR.

Disposal
Disposed off as Withdrawn

Holding

The Court allowed the withdrawal of the anticipatory bail application and disposed of it as withdrawn.

Summary

The applicant, Shivaji Bhau Bhosale, filed an anticipatory bail application (Cr. No. 708 of 2024) before the Bombay High Court, seeking release on bail if arrested. The applicant's counsel, Vaibhav R. Gaikwad, later sought unconditional withdrawal of the application, a request that was not opposed by the State's counsel, Dr. A.A. Takalkar. The Court considered whether such a withdrawal could be permitted. Finding no objection and noting the applicant's clear instruction, the Court granted leave to withdraw the anticipatory bail application. Consequently, the application was disposed of as withdrawn.
