The court permitted the withdrawal of the bail application and dismissed it, while granting liberty to file a fresh bail application if the trial does not make substantial progress within six months.

Summary

The applicant, Chinna Vithal Dahilod, filed a bail application (Bail Application No. 956 of 2026) in the High Court of Bombay, Aurangabad Bench. After hearing, the court indicated its reluctance to grant bail. The applicant's counsel then sought to withdraw the bail application, requesting liberty to file a fresh application if the trial does not make substantial progress within six months. The court granted permission to withdraw the application and expressly allowed a fresh bail application before the trial court if the trial is not progressed within the stipulated period. Consequently, the bail application and the associated criminal application were dismissed as withdrawn.
