The court declined to order a transfer of investigation, disposed the writ petition, and left the disciplinary enquiry direction pending.
Summary
Petitioner Pooja Gaurav Jaiswal filed a criminal writ petition seeking transfer of the investigation of Crime No.251/2026 after a ‘B’ summary was filed by the Sadar Bazar Police Station, Jalna. The court noted that the filing of the ‘B’ summary rendered the request for transfer moot, but granted the petitioner liberty to challenge the summary before the concerned magistrate. The second prayer, seeking a disciplinary enquiry against respondent No.4, was left open for further consideration. Consequently, the writ petition was disposed, and the pending criminal application was also dismissed. No substantive orders were made regarding the disciplinary enquiry at this stage.
