Bombay High Court

DEVESH S/O DATTABHAU PATHRIKARversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal
DISMISSED

Holding

The court granted a limited adjournment, standing the matter over to 19 October 2026.

Summary

The High Court of Bombay (Aurangabad Bench) was hearing Criminal Revision Application No.65 of 2017 filed by Devesh Pathrikar against the State of Maharashtra. The applicant’s counsel, Shri Vishal Arjun Chavan, sought a two‑week adjournment because the order dated 28‑09‑2026 had been challenged before the Supreme Court and a hearing there was imminent. The State’s counsel, Shri V.M. Lomte, opposed the adjournment. The judge noted that the matter had already been expedited by the Supreme Court and that the request was a last‑chance plea. Consequently, the court stood the matter over to 19‑10‑2026, effectively granting a limited adjournment.
