The Family Court's reasoning in granting maintenance was correct and no error was found, therefore the revision is dismissed.
Summary
The husband filed a criminal revision challenging a Family Court order that granted monthly maintenance of Rs.3,000 to his wife and Rs.1,000 each to two children, effective from the petition filing date of 3 April 2018. The revision application, filed after a delay, was condoned by the High Court. Upon reviewing the impugned order, the Court found the Family Court's reasoning for awarding maintenance to be correct and free of error. Consequently, the Court held that there was no ground for interference under its revisional jurisdiction. The revision application was therefore dismissed.
Issues considered
- Whether the Family Court's order granting maintenance to the wife and children is legally valid and free of error.
