Summary

The High Court of Bombay heard an interim application in Arbitration Appeal No. 37 of 2025 between Do Pint Marketing Services Pvt. Ltd. (appellant) and Bajaj Finance Ltd. (respondent). The parties reached a settlement whereby the appellant will pay Rs.1,75,000 by 25 August 2026 and the remaining Rs.1,75,000 by 25 September 2026, which the court accepted. The court noted that the parties have agreed on the appointment of an arbitrator and, to give effect to the settlement, appointed Ms. Subra Karmakar as the arbitrator, providing her contact details. The court ordered that if any installment is missed, the appointed arbitrator will handle the breach. Consequently, the arbitration appeal and all pending applications were disposed of.
