Bombay High Court

NIKHIL PRAVIN PATIL AND ANOTHERversusTHE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA

Disposal
Withdrawn

Holding

The Court dismissed the bail application as withdrawn, allowing a fresh application after the charge sheet is filed.

Summary

The petitioners Nikhil Pravin Patil and another applied for bail before the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, in a criminal case against the State of Maharashtra. The learned counsel for the petitioners sought bail, while the State opposed. The Court, after hearing both sides, expressed disinclination to grant bail at this stage and allowed the petitioners to withdraw the application, granting them liberty to file a fresh bail application after the charge‑sheet is filed in the trial court. Consequently, the bail application was dismissed as withdrawn. The order permits a fresh application post‑charge‑sheet filing.
